FREEFALL KENNELS :: BOARDING AND TRAINING

Boarding at Freefall Kennels is extremely limited during the year. As a small service, we do not have the means to operate a 10+ Dog environment. Therefore we only have two to three slots a year that we will take on a dog for any length of time. Boarding with us is for training dogs only that owners want to have stay with us during their "schooling". Boarding and Training with us will guarantee the following:

Your dog will be worked on a minimum of birds twice a week, with being worked on quail, pheasant, chuckar, and if requested, ducks.
Your dog will get conditioning training to make him/her a better student in our program and a healthier hunter.
Your dog will be going through a yard-work program which involves basic obedience, e-collar conditioning, "whoa" workouts, and force-retrieving (per request). Sometimes we don't do the "forced-retrieve" because we try to bring out your dog's natural ability to retrieve.
Your dog will be "in house", as in, your dog will be treated like our dogs by living inside with a family setting.
Your dog will be on the feeding schedule he leaves your home with. No one-a-day feedings, and will be acclimated to our water.
Will have interactions with other dogs, other people, and new places. Your dog will get plenty of play time as well as work time to stretch his/her legs during the process.
You have the right to schedule an appointment to come watch your dog, visit, or even remove him from our program.
You as the owner will get e-mail feeds with pictures and videos on your dog's progress while with us at Freefall.

The above mentioned is just a glimpse of what we supply to our clients and their dogs. However, all vet bills will also be due when your payment is due. You will be contacted should anything medical that is an emergency comes up, or if your dog becomes ill with us. We will not train your dog if it gets sick as it can sometimes make things worse for the dog. For some reason we cannot train your dog for longer than a day, we will contact you. We are all about the well-being of your dog!

We have access to numerous training grounds that require us to drive. We can and will meet with you in a field that is convenient for you and your schedule should you want to visit your dog during training.

All dogs work differently under pressure, and therefore we have created our program around dogs with different personalities and needs in mind. We also understand that your dog might not learn as fast as others, and should this arise, your dog will get numerous chances to encounter birds and will be worked on a different level than most dogs.

In-House Training Option #1: Monthly
Boarding is $700/month and this includes the cost of your quail. Ducks will be extra as they are harder to obtain from local bird farms in the area. Your dog is required to have the shots we recommend to make sure that they are healthy and in good condition. Our programs are geared to you and your dog, and we offer training services for you, as the owner, as well; which is also included in the $700/month. Just call ahead and we will meet you in the field that we plan on working in for the day.

In-House Training Option #2: Weekly
A week's worth of training is $175/week and this includes the cost of your quail and pigeons. Pheasants, Ducks, and Chukar are extra. This is for a week long tune-up session for you and your dog, in which time we will cover the basics of "whoa", fetching, and whatever else you would like to see your dog do. During this time, they will also undergo conditioning and swimming. Whatever you would like to see done with your dog during his stay with us, we will do our best to make sure that you see the results you want!

Personal Training: Daily Work
An hour of personalized training with you and your dog is $40 an hour, plus the going rate for all birds used with your dog. It is in these sessions that we work with you and your dog to help you give basic commands and corrections in training situations that can be carried over to helping your dog become a better hunting companion or finish that title! For those wishing to prep for tests and titles, we condition you as the owner to undergo a "crazy training" situation that could very well happen in a test.
