This is the 'Started' Dogs page, where we will post periodically dogs that will be put up 'for sale'. It is rare that we have dogs that are field-ready and able to go home before a hunting season. However, if you'd like to know more about the dog, feel free to drop me an e-mail or call me. Most of the dogs that are 'for sale' normally do not meet breeding requirements set by our standards or standards of the breeders who have allowed us to train these dogs. All dogs will be sold after they have been viewed working in the field, as I do not believe the "buying a dog blind" is the right way to go. I want to make sure that you are happy with what you see and experience before bringing your new hunting buddy home!

Started dogs are classified as having achieved the following:

• Have been introduced to birds.
• Have been whoa-broke, or understand the "whoa" command.
• Have been introduced to gun fire, or have been shot over.
• Dogs that have obedience on birds, and will more than likely hold point until the owner gets to them in order to flush and shoot the bird.
• Have minimal/basic retrieving skill, with not much "force-fetching" (some dogs just retrieve naturally!).
